About the event
Join us for an immersive one-day Mountain Marksmanship School experience at the picturesque Flying Spear Outfitters base camp. Learn amidst the serene surroundings as you gather around the main fire pit for a classroom session. Enhance your marksmanship skills at our 100-yard sight-in range and training range, offering targets out to 1 mile away. Cap off the day with a sneak peak of our Hunter Course, where you'll tackle simulated hunting scenarios with life-size reactive animal targets. The Hunter Course is the main topic of the Level 2 Class.
Topics will include:
Selecting components and electronics for successful long-range shooting
Optics- First Focal plane, 2nd Focal Plane, MOA, Mil
Proper Scope leveling and the importance of a bubble level on your rifle
Max effective range and terminal performance on game
